Please note the out-of-zone application will open Monday, January 17th, and close on Friday, February 4th. The lottery for all schools will be held Tuesday, Feb.8th. Parents and students will be notified of placement offers through email and on the parent dashboard of their SchoolMint Account.


Policies of the out-of-zone applications are as follows:

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
All parents must be a resident of Sumner County and are responsible for submitting all required paperwork.
Parents will be required to show two proofs of Sumner County residency upon registration.
Parents of students attending an out-of-zone school are required to provide transportation
Students applying for out-of-zone with an athletic record for the current (21-22) schoolyear in any TSSAA sanctioned sport will be ineligible to participate in the sport(s) in which an athletic record was established.
If offered a seat at an out-of-zone school, parents will have 48 hours to accept the placement. If the offer is not accepted within 48 hours, the offer is rescinded, and the student will no longer be eligible for placement.
Applications are for one student only. Siblings of accepted students will not have a preference for placement.
Parents are responsible for submitting all required paperwork and proof of residency annually at the school.
Students are accepted and placed in an out-of-zone school for the entirety of the school's grade levels.
