AP Programs

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level classes offered in high school that allow students to explore subjects in greater depth and rigor. Developed by the College Board, AP courses are designed to challenge students academically and help them build skills in critical thinking, analysis, time management, and effective study habits.

At the end of each AP course, students can take a standardized AP exam. High scores may earn them college credit or advanced placement in college courses, depending on the policies of the colleges they attend.

By participating in AP courses, students gain a strong foundation for college-level work, increase their competitiveness in college admissions, and often enter college better prepared to succeed academically.
